Dairy Discussion Groups

Dairy Discussion Groups

Murray Dairy has a new round of Discussion Group funding available for new and current groups operating in the Murray Dairy region.

Dairy Discussion Groups have for many years been a significant and valued forum for dairy farmers to address local, regional and industry issues in a farmer driven process. Common characteristics of successful groups are that they develop a well-planned agenda of agreed activities, meetings are efficiently facilitated and well attended and an element of flexibility is built into the program to enable the discussion group to address newly emerging issues.

Applications for funding of up to $3,000, per group, ending June 2017 are now being called for.

Groups are encouraged to contact Ross Read, Regional Extension Officer on 0438 906 613 or rread@murraydairy.com.au if they require any further information.

Please complete Expression of interest form to be considered for funding by close of business Friday 2 September 2016.
