The final day of the Mentor Farm series revisiting:

Managing Soils for Success.

This is your opportunity to discuss options for long term soil management on farm, get an overview of the host farmers, the Sheppard’s, operation and find out how the season unfolded for previous host farmers the Hicks’ and McKillop’s.

Soil pits will be used to demonstrate constraints, issues, paddock potential and provide the basis for host farmers the Sheppard’s, soil scientist Christian Bannan and advisor Darren McCormick, to talk through key points of soil management, preparation and long term planning options to grow quality feed on your property.
